Studio Visit with Lane Walkup

Lane Walkup is a metalworker in Portland. She blazes through long days with a welding torch in hand, and now her playful steel characters, letters, and shapes have earned her quite a following. We stopped by her little studio with some stuff from our metalwork collection to see what she's up to.
