First Thursday, July 7: Summer Pop-Up Series
Posted on 28 June 2016
Portland is alive with artists, craftspeople, tradesfolk and original artisans, and it's our mission at Hand-Eye Supply to support our talented and accomplished community.
First Thursday is almost here again, and we're excited to be bringing in four artists we love and admire to share our space, sell their wares, and celebrate the spirit of making in the Rose City.
Come by on Thursday, July 7 from 5-8 PM, enjoy refreshments courtesy of our buddies at Ft. George Brewery, groove on tunes from DJ Tobias, and swoop some one-of-a-kind stuff from our favorite makers...
LANE WALKUP / Steel sculptures, original pins and jewelry
Lane's work is playful and thoughtful, fun and finely crafted. She'll be slinging a catalogue of items that will surely surprise us.
FORTRESS LETTERPRESS / Original prints, pins, and shirts
Bruce Collin Paulson's engaging designs and illustrations are scattered all around Portland - you've probably seen one. His letterpress work is top-notch and we're excited to see what he has up his sleeve.
ASHLEY HARDY / Ceramics
Ashley has long been a friend of the store, and she's always stunning us with her unique ceramic work. Come see her newest stuff.
NATHAN MCKEE / Original buttons and prints
Nathan harnesses a little childlike style and is totally distinct. If you've seen his work, you know it. He'll be in with fresh prints, buttons, and more.
RSVP HERE. And see you on Thursday, July 7 from 5-8 PM.
