The baby cage appears to be a home brewed invention of a certain Mrs. Morris who felt her kids were not inhaling enough of that good old fashioned London smog. Too bad these didn't catch on. They are certainly more interesting to look at than window mount air conditioning units.
Where the Baby Cage seems a bit half baked, I can actually seem some real world applications for the Thief Catching net. Namely for poorly behaved children.
Also worth noting are Grandpa's Gas Power Ankle Breakers. I would by far proffer these to those two wheeled skate board things all the youngsters got for christmas this year.
Last is this device that everyone could use in times of tribulation.
